About
Our Story
Founded in 2024, Quantico began as a simple conversation among a group of UBC students passionate about quantitative research and data-driven decision-making. What started as informal study sessions quickly grew into something more.
We identified a gap in the student experience at UBC: students interested in quantitative fields didn't really have a place outside of the classroom to apply their learnings. They needed hands-on experience, mentorship, and a community of like-minded peers pushing each other to excel.
From our first meeting with just eight members, we have grown into a thriving group of over 30 students. Our members have gone on to intern at leading firms and tech companies, publish research, and build lasting friendships.
Today, Quantico stands as UBC's premier quantitative research club, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in everything we do. Our story is still being written, and we invite you to be part of the next chapter.
